Stanley Elementary PTO Grant Requests

 

Proposals may be for projects, activities, books, equipment or anything that enhances the academic lives of students at Stanley Elementary.  While preference is given to proposals that offer school-wide access to students, teachers and/or staff are also encouraged to submit proposals that will benefit their individual classrooms or grade level. 

 

Submissions must be submitted by the Friday prior to monthly Stanley PTO meetings, and will be discussed and voted on at said meetings. The PTO meeting schedule is published on the PTO website, and are usually held the second Tuesday of the month.

 

Monetary requests may be small or large, however we anticipate that the majority of requests will be for amounts less than $500.  

 

If grant requests are approved, recipients will be emailed to let them know.

As faculty representatives for PTO, Elizabeth Bodenhamer (Principal) and Shannon Troutman (PTO Faculty Liaison) will do the first review of proposals for content, appropriateness and to determine if alternate funding sources are available. However, this does not exclude them from applying for grants.
